Bharati Desai, B.Com., LL.B.

Bharati Desai is a trusted, reliable senior accountant with over 27 years of experience. She also founded and operates OM Bookkeeping and Tax Services Inc.

Bharati holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, a Bachelor of Law in Taxation, as well as multiple certifications. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself as a reliable, highly ethical and details-oriented accounting expert with well-rounded business skills—resulting in numerous commendations, testimonials and referrals.

In addition to running her company since 2009-2014, Bharati also served as Senior Accountant at Canril Corporation. Earlier working environments where she channelled her accounting expertise include Rotary International and Eye Care Hospital (Gujarat, India), as well as High Commission of India, Gilmore Global Logistics Services and Continental Automated Building Association (Ottawa, Canada).

On several occasions, Bharati has been recognized for her volunteer commitments. Her most recent volunteer experience was as a tax consultant at Pinecrest-Queensway Health and Community Services, where she received two certificates of appreciation from Canada Revenue Agency for her participation in the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. Bharati was president of Gujarati Cultural Association and received award for the best community service.
